Right-click the folder and press "Delete." Click "Yes" to confirm that you want to delete the folder and its contents. Navigate to the WinZip program folder, but do not open it. Type ""%ProgramFiles%\WinZip\winzip32" /uninstall" (omit the quotes) into the Command Prompt window and press "Enter." Confirm that you want to uninstall the program, then close the Command Prompt window and restart your computer. Right-click "cmd.exe" and select "Run as Administrator." Click "Yes" or enter your password, if prompted. Right-click anywhere on the selected files and choose "Properties." Click the "Read Only" check box to clear it, then click "OK." Click "OK" on the Confirm Attribute Changes dialog box, then click "Continue" on the Access Denied prompt window.Ĭlick the Start button and type "cmd" in the search box. Press "Ctrl-A" to select all of the data in the folder. Click the Start button and select "Computer." Double-click your primary drive, which is usually C:, then double-click "Program Files." Double-click "WinZip" to open the program's folder. Open the WinZip program folder, which is saved in the "Program Files" folder by default.
